These wooden Back to School Math Counters are a great resource that allow children to practice foundational math skills. They are a hands-on learning tool that promotes number recognition, one-to-one counting, adding and subtracting, and are great for use with a ten or twenty frame board (ten/twenty frame not included). They are also great to use in making patterns.
