Take the cutest pictures ever with this First Day of School Chalkboard! It is a REAL sign (not just a printable!) with a quality chalkboard surface and wooden ruler frame. It works with chalk markers and regular chalk and is easy to clean. The years between your child's first day and graduating high school will go by in the blink of an eye! Don't miss out on the memories of the first day, year after year. Use and Care: Our chalkboards work with regular chalk and most chalk markers. We suggest you clean the chalkboard as soon as possible after use and no later than 24 hours after writing on it. To clean just wipe it with a damp rag with just water and follow up with a dry rag (especially if using chalk markers). A magic eraser can remove any chalk marker residue or more stubborn chalk markers. We do not suggest "priming" the chalkboard if you are using regular chalk- it is already ready to go! We offer personalization and can add your child's name to the chalkboard or we can fill out the entire chalkboard for you. If we fill out the chalkboard it is permanently printed on the chalkboard and is no longer reusable. At 15" x 11.5" our sign is the perfect size for photos, and is great to show how your little one grows each year. It is handmade in the USA and due to the nature of handmade items varies slightly from board to board. The wooden rulers feature variations in the wood grain that may result in darker sections, and/or lines in the wood. This is part of the charm of using real wood, and is to be expected. OPTIONS: We offer a First Day sign, Last Day sign, or a set that includes both the First and Last Day signs. For the set you will receive 2 chalkboards, they are not double sided. -Add Name: We will permanently print your child's first name on the chalkboard in your choice of Script or Print font. Please provide the name in the Personalization box as you would like it on the sign, example: Olivia's. *Important* If the name ends in "s" like Miles, please let us know if you want Miles' or Miles's, if there is no note we will choose. -No Name: The sign will come without a name printed on it so it can be used by multiple children or your child can write their own name on it. Please note- we cannot make changes to signs with No Name such as leaving off the word First or making any changes. The signs with No Name are made ahead of time and are already printed and in stock prior to your purchase.
