The abacus offers your child a wonderful opportunity to learn counting. Addition and subtraction, plus and Munis calculate like in the book, only to touch. Some children have difficulty grasping quantities, not with this math learning material. The application is manifold. The purpose of it all is to teach children the rules of arithmetic in the number range 0-20 in a simple and understandable way. With the help of the abacus, children can more easily follow the solution path and are thus guided more unerringly to the solution. Example: 4+5=9 Four red balls represent the number four and five blue balls represent the number five. Once the balls have been placed, the solution can be read off very easily. This method of learning is designed to enable children to grasp numbers, quantities and the arithmetic operations haptically and visually. Through the multisensory learning (several senses are addressed at once), it is easier for our children to remember things and store them in the brain / memory. Optionally, you can choose the set with felt balls or wooden balls. The wooden balls have a diameter of about 20mm, the felt balls are only slightly smaller.
