Explore plants and gardening methods as we learn how to grow our own vegetables, fruits, and herbs! We'll be trying different methods for starting our plants from seeds to cuttings, planning our square foot garden, creating our own compost piles, inviting beneficial insects, learning about companion planting, recording our observations in our new Garden Nature Journal, and so much more! Throughout each CURIOUS TRAILS NATURE STUDY you’ll find open-and-go topic study guides and lots of hands-on-activities ranging from S.T.E.M. projects, art invitations, nature journaling, cooking together, and more! This family style unit is divided into 4 weekly nature lessons with activities that follow and ideas for our younger and older learners.
