The checkerboard allows students to see the multiplication process physically, as they place bead bars across the board according to the multiplier and the multiplicand. By manipulating the bead bars and tiles, students engage with the mathematical concept at a deeper level, promoting better understanding and retention.
🌹Mat only, Manipulatives are not provided with the mat.
Two options are available:
1. The mat has only a black fabric border around the mat.
2. The mat with the backing and the border around it.
🥁This is a thick cotton fabric Quilted mat, approximately, 18 x 32 inches, with two layers.
The design with numbers is printed on a heavy cotton fabric.
It has Black or Dark Green Cotton fabric on the bottom layer and a border around the mat.
The Checkerboard mat is entirely handmade by me in the USA—a smoke-free environment.

The mat has 36 Squares of Red, Blue, and Green. (Cotton fabric is used for the whole Mat)
Each square is approximately 3" x 3" inches.
The Mat is easy to store, either folded or rolled. First, roll the mat then wrap it with elastic straps, which can store conveniently. The elastic color would be either black or Blue.
Care Instruction:
- Wash separately with like colors.
- First, try to spot-clean the fabric with mild soap and water. The machine washes on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent for stubborn stains.
Lay flat and air dry ( recommended) would keep the shape of the rug much better. If ironing, use low heat.
🥁Please note that if you order more than one mat, it may take one or more days to ship.
100% recycled plastic materials were used for the shipping package.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
